D4 Cold Foil Indexer Retro-Fit

Scienta’s D4 Cold Foil Indexing development was only possible with the kind assistance from Engas Drukarnia in Bielsko-Biala, Poland. Over several visits in 2018, Scienta adapted Engas’ existing CF unit to function with its D4 Indexer.

This CF unit now runs nearly every single foiled job with Scienta’s D4 Indexer saving many metres of foil and more importantly saving money (be it GBP, Euros or Zloty!!).

Since then in early 2020, Scienta have retro-fitted its D4 Indexer onto another existing CF unit in the UK. Again, saving this customer precious £££’s. In the summer of 2022, Scienta converted an old twin towered CF unit to a single unit with its D4 Indexer.

Yet another customer with an existing unit is in the process of updating his options by installing our D4 indexer.

The option of retro-fitting Scienta’s D4 Indexer could be available to all current Cold Foil users.
